Sending Gifts

How do I order a gift?

Simply head to our flower gifts page, where you can select a single box gift or send a season of flowers with a gift subscription!

If you're already a subscriber with Freddie's you'll have the option to sign in when ordering a gift and access your subscriber-only discounts on gifts!

Please note that our Customer Service team are not able to order gifts over the phone and will redirect you to order online.

Do I need to have a subscription or an account to order a gift?

You can absolutely order a single box or a gift subscription using guest checkout if you don't wish to create an account. Just head here...

Creating a gifter account has many handy benefits, and you'll have the option to do so once you've ordered a gift. You can save addresses and a preferred payment method to save time when ordering your next gift, add reminders for upcoming occasions, and access your order history.

But the best prices and perks are exclusive to our subscribing members, who have discounted gift prices, access to the full Freddie's Flowers Shop, and lots more.

Can I choose how many boxes I send in a gift subscription?

We have four options for a flower subscription gift:

  • 1 month of fortnightly flowers (2 boxes)
  • 3 months of monthly flowers (3 boxes)
  • 6 months of monthly flowers (6 boxes)
  • 12 months of monthly flowers (12 boxes)
Can I include a personalised card with my gift?

Absolutely! When ordering your gift, after you've selected your arrangement and the day of delivery, you'll be able to choose from four different card designs and compose your personal message. If you need a little poetic inspiration, you'll see some suggestions to help you out.

If you'd rather not include a card with your gift then you can simply skip this section by clicking on 'I don't want to include a free personalised note'.

If you need to make any edits to your personalised card after you've ordered your gift, simply contact our wonderful Customer Service team and they'll be able to help you out.

Please note that we will be unable to make any changes after the deadline of 12 noon two days before your chosen delivery day - meaning if you've ordered a gift for Friday, we won't be able to make changes after Wednesday at 12 noon.

What's the difference between the box sizes?

Our three box sizes allow you to choose the arrangement that suits you - from our compact and adorable Letterbox with 12-15 stems, to the big and beautiful Showstopper at 20-25 tall stems.

If you're looking for that Goldilocks feeling of something just right, try our Classic size that's in between.

I don’t see the flowers I’m looking for...

Freddie's is unique among online florists for our seasonal cycles. We work with growers to plan a curated selection of gorgeous arrangements just a few at a time, meaning that you're getting super-fresh, direct-from-the-grower stems that last for ages. This means that at any one time, you'll have a small number of arrangements to choose from that are exclusively available in that cycle - so get 'em while they're hot!

This unique way of working means that we're unable to accommodate requests for specific stems.

On the Choose Your Arrangement page when ordering your gift, you'll see the arrangements available in the upcoming cycles, as well as the three box sizes you can choose from.

How do I choose which flowers I'm sending as a gift?

If you're an early bird and choose a delivery date further than six weeks into the future, our seasonal selection won't be available yet to view - but don't worry, you can trust Freddie and our styling team to wow with every bunch!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept any card payment (except American Express), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal.

Remember that you'll have the option to create a gifter account after ordering a gift, which conveniently allows you to save a payment method for future gift orders.

Gift delivery

What time will my gift arrive?

Our trusted courier delivers between 7am and 8pm on the delivery day. They'll send a text with the delivery time slot that morning. Add your mobile number when ordering your gift to receive the text yourself, or if you've got the recipient's number, we can send it to them directly.

Want to make sure your gift is in full bloom on the big day? Choose a delivery day 1-2 days before the special date! Our flowers arrive in bud and take a day or two to open up to their full glory.

Can I send a gift with next day delivery?

Absolutely! The deadline to send a gift with next day delivery is 8pm.

Due to the quick turnaround times of our next day delivery gifts, we will be unable to make any changes to gifts ordered for the next day once they have been ordered.

My gift order hasn't arrived...

Single gift boxes are delivered by our courier partners, usually between the hours of 7am – 7pm. On the morning of delivery, notification texts with tracking information will be sent to the phone number added to the gift order.

If no one is in for the delivery, the flowers will be left according to the delivery instructions or in a safe place.

If you need to check on your gift's delivery status or your gift has not arrived by the evening, please do get in touch with our Customer Service team and we'll look into it for you.

Can I order a gift for delivery on a weekend?

We deliver single box gifts seven days a week, so you can send your gift just at the right moment!

If you're ordering a gift subscription, you can choose the first delivery date (Monday - Sunday) so you can make sure to time things right for a special occasion. After the first box, your gift recipient receives their subscription flowers on the set weekday delivery day in their area, Monday - Friday. When you input their delivery postcode on the gift order we'll let you know which day this is!

Is there an extra charge for a gift order delivery?

Delivery is included in the price of the gift if you order at least two days in advance.

If you're in a rush and need your gift to arrive tomorrow, there is a £5 next-day delivery charge.

Can I choose the delivery day of my gift?

We deliver single box gifts seven days a week, so you can send your gift just at the right moment!

If a date on the calendar is greyed out and you cannot select it, unfortunately that means we are fully booked for that day for the arrangement and size you've chosen.

Feel free to go back a step to check if other arrangements or sizes may still be available for your date - or, since our flowers arrive in bud and open up over time, consider sending them a day or two earlier than your special date!

If a date on the calendar is yellow, that simply means we've only got a few orders left on that day for your chosen arrangement and size - they'll be gone soon!

If you're ordering a gift subscription, you can choose the first delivery date (Monday - Sunday) so you can make sure to time things right for a special occasion. After the first box, your gift recipient will receive their subscription flowers on the set delivery day in their area, which will be Monday - Friday.

Can I send a gift box on a Bank Holiday?

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver one-off gift boxes on Bank Holidays at the moment.

When sending gifts, keep in mind that the flowers take a few days to bloom into their full glory, so you might consider sending them a few days in advance of a special occasion!

Order management

Can I set gifting reminders for special occasions?

If you're thinking ahead and want to make sure you remember to order gifts for special occasions, use our Gifting Reminders function!

If you log onto your gifting account, and head to the Gifting Reminders page, you'll be able to set reminders for special dates. Once saved in your gifter account, we will then send you an email reminder 10 days in advance of this date to remind you to order a gift.

Can I change my account details on a gifting account?

Of course - simply log into your account and go to your Account Details page to edit your details including your preferred payment method, billing address, and more.

Can I get an invoice for my gift order?

Of course - simply log into your account and go to your Order History page to download invoices from your gifts.

If you checked out as a guest when ordering your gift, then please contact our Customer Service team who will be able to help you with this!

Can I change the delivery address of a gift after ordering?

If you’d like to make any edits to the gift you have ordered, please do get in touch with our Customer Service team who will be able to help you with this.

Where can I see my order history for gift orders?

Of course - simply log into your account and go to your Order History page to see all your past orders.

If you checked out as a guest without creating an account, you'll have received a gifting confirmation email with all the details of your gift. Feel free to contact our friendly customer service team if you have any questions about your order!

Can I cancel the gift I have ordered?

If you’d like to cancel the gift you have ordered, please do get in touch with our Customer Service team who will be able to help you with this.

Please note that we will be unable to make any changes after the deadline of 12 noon two days before your chosen delivery day - meaning if you've ordered a gift for Friday, we won't be able to make changes after Wednesday at 12 noon.
